Privacy Policy

Pleno shows fuel prices near you. It is designed to know as little about you as possible.

The short version

• No account, no sign-in.
• No tracking, no analytics SDKs, no advertising.
• Your location is used on your device only, to find nearby prices.
• We do not store personal data on any server.

Location

Pleno asks for your location so it can show stations around you, in the app, in widgets and in CarPlay. Your location is processed on your iPhone and is never sent to us.

To get prices, the app downloads data directly from official public sources. These requests contain only what is needed to select the area:

• Spain: the province code (for example “28” for Madrid), sent to the Spanish Ministry's public price service.
• France: the coordinates of the search point and a radius, sent to the French government's open data API (data.economie.gouv.fr).
• Italy: a map tile key covering an area of roughly 50 × 50 km, sent to our own static files hosted on GitHub Pages.

These requests carry no identifier of you or your device. Like any internet request, the receiving server sees your IP address; we do not run analytics on our files and we do not receive any logs that identify you.

Data stored on your device

Your favourite stations, your car settings (fuel type, tank size, consumption), preferences and cached prices are stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; the app only receives from Apple whether Pleno Pro is active.

Navigation apps

When you tap “Go”, Pleno opens the navigation app you chose (Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze) with the station's location. From then on, that app's own privacy policy applies.

Children

Pleno is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
